Wooden Tissue Box Cover Plan
(Fits Standard Kleenex Box)
This wooden tissue box cover is designed to fit over a standard rectangular Kleenex tissue box. It is constructed from 1/2-inch plywood using a simple five-piece design (four sides and a top). The bottom remains open so the cover slides easily over the tissue box.
Because the box will be veneered, it can be customized with a wide variety of wood veneer species, such as oak, maple, walnut, cherry, or exotic hardwoods to match furniture or décor. Veneering allows for a refined, furniture-quality appearance while maintaining a stable plywood core.
Tissues are dispensed through a 1 3/4-inch diameter hole centered in the top panel.
